Safety

An assistant acts on your behalf, so these rules are built in.

• Credits: The run_ tools show the cost and spend nothing until they receive confirm: true. The same call repeated within the same minute is not charged twice. Send request_id to protect a longer retry.
• Changes: write tools default to preview: true. Removing a competitor or turning a prompt off needs confirm: true.
• Third party text: website content and AI answers arrive under untrusted_data, marked as data. A page cannot give your assistant instructions through them.
• Size: a result is at most 100 KB and a single answer 4.000 characters. Narrow the request if it is larger.
• Limits: every tool call counts towards the same limits and monthly quota as the REST API.
